First steps

My early work began in Romania, in my teens, driven by an instinct to build images through composition, collage, and detail.

From the beginning, I was less interested in traditional representation, and more in creating immersive visual worlds

Traditional training

I trained extensively in traditional techniques, developing realistic portraiture through years of practice in charcoal, pencil, and oil.

Understanding structure, proportion, and light gave me the control needed to later deconstruct and rebuild my work.

Mixed media exploration

During my studies and beyond, I explored mixed media across photography, sculpture, and installation.

This period was driven by experimentation — pushing boundaries while developing a consistent visual language.

Digital and animation

Alongside my artistic practice, for over a decade, I built a strong career in digital product design. This sharpened my understanding of visual systems, structure, and user perception — elements that continue to shape my work.

Today, I extend my paintings into motion, introducing animation as a new layer of expression.

Today...

Today, all of this comes together in the way I work.

Living between Europe and Asia, and travelling extensively, has shaped the way I see and create. I’m constantly drawn to patterns, textures, and visual details across cultures, which naturally find their way into my compositions.

I work instinctively, starting from a feeling, a colour, a mood — and letting the piece unfold from there. I build everything gradually, detail by detail, until it becomes something complete. All filtered through years of practice, exploration,  experience and more than anything, living with passion and curiosity
